Go buy these. That is all.
Most of the time I talk about music I talk about bubble gum pop and early 2000s R+B. Let’s be honest, it’s my favourite. (but then again how could you NOT love Aqua, Craig David, and Aaliyah?) However, there are the odd times that I enjoy something “better”. This morning I am staying in bed, keeping my pjs on, and editing photos; It seemed like the perfect time to bust out my morning playlist. Here’s a glimpse of what I’m working to.
1) Cream – White Room
2) Regina Spektor – Samson
3) Ingrid Michaelson – The Way I Am
4) The Lumineers – Flapper Girl
5) Robert Plan + Allison Krauss – Please Read the Letter
My name is Chelsey, and I’m a morning person. There’s nothing more calm yet refreshing about the morning time; soft light, unmade beds, and warm coffees. It really is the best part of my day. Here are some photos pulled from my Pinterest board that make me feel all cozy and happy inside.
First things first, if you have Twitter and are not following @mylespeterman fix that right now. He is absolutely delightful. His tweets always crack me up, he’s positive and happy, shares my love for dorky pop, and is pretty damn talented!
He just recorded a new song, My Body’s a Zombie For You, that you HAVE to hear. I think it has a cool Drifters/Bowie vibe to it. [Not to mention, the title is great]
